The LightPulse LP3000DC Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter provides two fully independent Fiber Channel connections through a single PCI slot. The LP3000DC enables fiber channel users and OEMs to improve system performance, increase fiber channel connectivity, and provide additional fault tolerance. ??Using two Emulex "firelite" Fibre Channel controllers, each incorporating a proprietary on-chip sequencing engine, the LP3000DC supports high-throughput Fiber Channel storage connections while minimizing impact on the host processor. The LightPulse LP3000DC Dual Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter supports two independent 1.0625 Gb/s full duplex data transfers and full PCI bus speed data transfers of 133 MB/s and is both ANSI Fiber Channel and PCI Local Bus compliant.
