The RMO-S551/SD can read and write to 2.6/2.3 GB and 1.3/1.2 GB media, and read 650/600 MB media. Along with increased capacity, the 551 series drives also deliver higher data transfer rates. With a sustained data transfer rate of up to 5 MB/s, the 551 series is up to 20% faster than previous drive generations. A fast 25 ms access time, a large 4 MB data buffer, and a fast industry standard SCSI-2 interface also help speed access to your critical data.
