Powered by blazing Intel Xeon E5 processing technology, Oracle's Sun X4170 M3 Server features a compact 1U structure that's perfect for datacenters with space constraints.
The Sun Fire X4170 M3 comes equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors. With 16 DIMMs, the Sun X4170 M3 scales to 512 gigabytes (GB) of main memory. The X4170 M3 also features four PCI 3.0 slots, four on-board 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port and redundant/hot-swappable disks, fans and power supplies for optimal reliability.
